RULES
GENERAL
The TAMPA ALBION MASTERS SOCCER FRIENDLY ROUND ROBIN COMMITTEE wish all the participants a wonderful, injury free fun day of soccer.
All decisions of the referee are final and binding. The Deputy Chairperson reserves the right to decide on all matters relative to the league and all decisions are final.
NO PROTESTS ARE ALLOWED! NO SLIDE TACKLES ARE ALLOWED!
In the event of inclement weather, the committee may reschedule a match, change division structure, reduce match duration or cancel a match.
REGISTRATION
All teams should be allowed a maximum of twenty (20) players on their roster.
ENTRY FEE
Entry fee per team shall be ( varies by event ) and must paid in full by specified date.
TEAM ELIGIBILITY
Only invited and approved soccer clubs and teams are allowed to participate in the Tampa Albion Masters Round Robin.
It shall be the responsibility of each team to verify the eligibility of its players and to provide such proof to the organizers upon request and at any point during the event.
Falsification of any information provided in the application or registration process, including illegal players,
will result in the withdrawal of the invitation to compete. In such a situation and under no other circumstances will there be any refund of travel and entry fees that may have been paid.
As a recommendation, all teams, other than those in the local area, are referred to Guava Tours to arrange suited flights and accommodations in the designated hotels. Special rates have been established to facilitate affordability for all participants. A list of these hotels and flights can be had by contacting Guava Tours and reservations can be made online with a special rate code that will be provided upon completion of team registration.
Each team will be allowed a maximum of two (2) guest players for the event. The guest players must be registered prior to the beginning of the round robin and must meet the age criteria.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
All players must be properly registered with the respective team roster prior to kickoff and the deadlines set for the round robin. Players may play on only one team during the entire event. No player switching of teams will be allowed. Players must be able to furnish proof of age upon request and at any time during the event. Players must be 40 years of age on or before December 31st of the event year. Teams will be allowed 2 outfield players under the age requirement of 40 but they must be 35 or older on or before December 31st of the event year with the exception of goalkeepers, who may be 30 or older.
PRE-GAME
All Teams are required to present player rosters and bench personnel.
A player who arrives late at the playing field after the pre-game procedure may enter the game once the
game’s official(s) verify the player is eligible, and with the permission of the center referee.
Only at the pre-game procedure may a player be challenged by an opposing manager/coach. A challenged player will be noted by the referee on the game report and will be allowed to participate in the game if the player has been certified as eligible by the Tournament Committee. A late arriving player may be challenged at the time he/she is allowed to participate by the referee.
ANY TEAM USING AN INELIGIBLE PLAYER WILL FORFEIT THE PARTICULAR MATCH.
AGE DETERMINATION
Playing age is determined by presenting a picture ID that reflects date of birth and correct name (i.e.; Drivers License or Passport) or by Committee Members’ attestation to player’s age.
MODE OF COMPETITION AND SYSTEMS OF TIE BREAKER
The system shall be a Single Round Robin with the top two (2) teams advancing to a final. Each team will be scheduled to play a minimum of three (3) matches; however, considering age, ample breaks shall be given between games for recovery.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Multiple substitutions will be allowed. All substitutions will be controlled by the referee.
NO DRAWS! Penalty kicks will decide matches tied at the end of regulation play.
Point system comprised as follow:
Three (3) points for a win
Zero (0) for a defeat
The ranking of each team in the pool will be determined as follows:
1. Greatest number of points obtained in all matches
2. Head to head of two teams tied (disregard if more than two teams tied)
3. Team with highest goal differential; positive only
4. Least number of goals allowed
5. Greatest number of goals scored in all matches
6. If still tied, both teams will proceed to determine winner by penalty kicks
LEAGUE OVERTIME
There will be no overtime play during this soccer round robin.

OBJECTIVE OF THE TOURNAMENT
The round robin is provided for leisure, team play, friendship and healthy competition. It is to encourage the fun experience of soccer and promote continued health and relationships. Fair play is the essence of masters and any soccer event. Enjoy a weekend of fun in the sun with your family, teammates and friends.

EQUIPMENT
Formal soccer uniforms are not a requirement however, at minimum each team must come in the same colored top or T-shirts that are different in color from opponent. Should both teams have similar colors a coin flip will decide who wears playing vests which will be provided by the organizers.
It is also recommended though not required that shorts should also be in same colors for easement of referee separating the team/players
Numbers are not required
Should there be an issue in distinguishing player(s) of either or both teams; the referee has the right to direct different gear. No dispute is permitted. Again, playing vests are allowed and available in limited quantities. Teams should come equipped with players’ vests or an alternate color T-Shirt.
No jewelry except wedding band
Socks, elastic ankle and/or foot-wraps are required
Soccer cleats or soccer training shoes are required. Sneakers and running shoes are not allowed.
BALLS: Match balls will be provided however each team is required to have a minimum of three (3) match condition size 5 FIFA approved balls. If needed , organizers reserve the right to call on any of the teams in a match to provide the match ball
If not otherwise specified or mentioned in this document, all Round Robin Soccer rules are the same as FIFA Football LAWS of the GAME.
